Refund policy

All Banded Bird products are handmade and therefore are never completely identical.  If ordering multiple bands with the same custom text on each band there will be slight differences.  When ordering a replica band the specific characters will match, but the exact identical aging and other potential blemishes that naturally appear on the original band due to being on a live bird in the wild cannot be replicated. Some font styles may also differ sightly, but will be made to most accurately replicate your original band.  All Replica bands require the proof of the USGS certificate, proving it has been reported and thus out of circulation.

Because these are handmade custom products we do not offer a return policy, however we do guarantee that your order is received as requested by confirming the text is accurate and received either polished or weathered as selected during the ordering processed and confirmed in your cart during checkout at the time of the order.  

Please note that if you choose any unavailable characters they will either be omitted or replaced at our discretion to best accomplish your desired text.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if there are any discrepancies so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  You have 15 days from the date you receive your order to notify us of any discrepancies in your order.  You can contact us at shop@bandedbird.com.  You will be required to provide proof in the form of photos of any discrepancies you claim.  If it is confirmed that there was a mistake in your order a replacement band will be produced and shipped within 48 hours.  Shipping of replacement bands will be sent Priority Mail for a 2-3 day delivery time.
